We offer transfer moulding services which provides a consistent, high quality product with a repeatable process and high cavity base that can produce a high volume of parts quickly in order to meet your requirements without the extra cost that a full injection mould may bring.

Unlike a compression tool a transfer tool has a third section called a transfer pot. The material is loaded into this pot and a piston is placed on top. Once closed and placed into the press it compresses the rubber and forces it to flow through the holes or sprues into the cavities.

Once this process is completed, the rubber part is finished to customers requirements.

Transfer Moulding Advantages

  • Less material preparation
  • Tighter dimensional tolerances
  • Reduced tooling cost and manufacture time than an Injection tool
  • More consistent than a compression mould tool
  • High volume capabilities
